- Digital prototype – up/down/left/right movement keys
- Select/Equip items via menu system
Dynamics:
- Equipping weapons not intuitive
- Perhaps a pop up menu asking if player wants to equip the new weapon
- Not much else for the player to do at the moment
- Need to rigorously develop the story
- With a in-depth story, the will be more discovery for the player to enjoy
Aesthetics:
- Using RPG Maker makes it easy for the world to quickly be created
- Many “tiles” are premade and artists just have to create sprites that are up to par with the art from the engine
- So far looks good
Project Drive Through Tycoon
Mechanics:
- Touching paper pieces representing kitchen staff, customers, and food
- Touch food and customer that ordered it
Dynamics:
- Introduce a time limit for players to have a type of boundary
- More types of food for the player to interact with
- More game elements for the player to interact with
Aesthetics:
- Images are clear representations of what player will see in game
Project Circular Strife
Mechanics:
- Pick up bombs, circle ruins, blow up ruins
- Drive RC car
Dynamics:
- Improved controls
- Figure out how to whip bombs around
- Breaking/Reverse
- Time trial and demerits used well
Aesthetics:
- Players had immediate feedback with the RC car
- Nice idea
- Could see the physics involved for game
